# How To Buy $SKY

**To purchase $SKY:**

1. Navigate to [TraderJoe](https://traderjoexyz.com/avalanche) and make sure the Avalanche network is selected on the top right of the page.

2. Click the "Trade" button on the bottom left to be taken to the swap page.
3. Connect your wallet.
4. Select token in the "To" section and paste in the $SKY contract address: 0x239c1d2fb158113Dc4B10133b66d7516207879c5

4. Adjust slippage settings: because the $SKY buy/sell tax rate is set to 3%, it is recommended to set slippage to 3.1%

5. Select the amount of $SKY you wish to purchase and execute the trade.
6. If the transaction is unable to complete due to blockchain congestion, please continually increase the slippage by 0.1% until the transaction completes.
